Poker Pro Doug Polk Makes History In A $500K Hand On The Lodge Card Room’s Livestream

Doug Polk poker $500K hand

Poker at the Lodge

Poker history was made on the most recent ‘Poker at the Lodge’ livestream when Doug Polk, one of the most popular figures in the game, battled a player known as ‘Tesla’ for the second-largest pot in the stream’s history.

Just a few hands prior to this clash, Doug Polk was nearly out of the popular poker livestream. He was running bad. But things slowly started to turn around and then boom, this hand came along.

This Poker at the Lodge clip is also available on X (formerly Twitter) if that is a preferred medium to any:

Just a gargantuan swing on the night after that hand for Doug Polk. He went from down to being up $196,725 on the session. Meanwhile, the player who goes by Tesla was down $451,650 on the session. That is, quite obviously, a devastating session of poker.

At the end of the night, Polk finished $182,625 up on the session. Alex was up $161,400. Mariano won $119,950 on the night and ‘Bulldog’ was up $107,825. The stream’s losers were Xuan who was down $25,350, Tito who lost $93,300. And Tesla accounted for most of the table’s wins with a losing session of $451,150. Ouch.

Doug Polk has $10,493,951 in live poker earnings, according to his HendonMob database results. He’s also one of the most-followed figures in poker with 400K+ subscribers on YouTube.

If you’re not familiar with Doug’s work, has a real knack for breaking down the interpersonal relationships and clashes within poker and teaching the next generation about the drama of poker’s past and who the shady characters in the industry are.
