Power Slap’s Vernon Cathey Delivers Slap Knockout Of The Season

Vernon Cathey power slap KO

Power Slap

Power Slap’s Vernon Cathey has earned his way into the Power Slap finale on March 11th with what Dan White declared the “greatest slap of all-time.”

In the latest episode of Power Slap, Cathey delivered a vicious one-slap knockout KO over Amir Nurideen, which was initially called a stepping foul but was overturned via replay.

Cathey has credited competing in the Highland Games, a traditional Scottish sporting event that features several strongman competitions, with developing the technique he uses for slapping in Power Slap

“Honestly, it’s just a technique of throwing the implements a lot of torsional rotation and keeping the hands straight and the arms straight. So, yeah, just actually throwing in that event helped me do it.”

Cathey will be facing Ayjay Hintz, who also KOed his last opponent Russell Rivero in vicious fashion.
