Update:

Raiders coach Josh McDaniels told media that Davante Adams will return to practice practice today on Wednesday.

Original Story:

In a concerning turn of events during Friday’s joint practice session with the 49ers, Raiders star receiver Davante Adams had to leave the field due to what appeared to be a right leg injury.

Multiple media members from practice reported on the possible injury.

The incident occurred during the early stages of the 11-on-11 drills when Adams took a hit from 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward.

The impact left Adams grounded on the field, prompting immediate attention from the team’s trainers. Despite the initial worry, Adams managed to rise to his feet under his own power, albeit with a noticeable limp, clearly favoring his right leg.

Observers on site noticed trainers fitting Adams with a sleeve around his right shin, suggesting a possible focus on that particular area.

Following the on-field assessment, the decision was made for Adams to head to the locker room for a more comprehensive evaluation of his condition.

The departure of Adams, who is a pivotal asset to the team’s offensive lineup, is understandably causing a stir among fans.
