The Las Vegas Raiders are eliminated from the playoffs and are getting an early start to the offseason. In fact, it sounds like the franchise is already making a free-agent target list.

Considering Josh McDaniels is the head coach, it’s not surprising to see him try to bring in some former talent from the New England Patriots.

With that said, Las Vegas is reportedly already all-in on signing Tom Brady in the offseason, per Albert Breer. He claims, “I can tell you, unequivocally, it is a fact. The Raiders are looking into signing Tom Brady.” Of course, the future Hall of Famer still has the playoffs to participate in with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Usually, teams like to keep their cards close to their chest. So, it’s a bit odd to hear the Raiders express interest so quickly. Even so, Tom Brady has been linked with the Raiders since the organization benched Derek Carr.

Additionally, Las Vegas might be a solid landing spot for Brady in general. He’d have plenty of weapons at his disposal and an offensive scheme he’s incredibly familiar with. It really comes down to what Tom Brady wants to do once the season concludes.

It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. From the sounds of it, the Raiders might take a big swing to sign Brady this offseason. If it fails, then we could see Jimmy Garoppolo heading to Las Vegas instead.
