The Rams are having kicker issues again.
Last week, Harrison Mevis, better known as ‘Thiccer Kicker, ‘ one of the largest kickers in NFL history, missed two crucial field goals in the team’s game against the Bills.
The day after the Bills game, the Rams cut Mevis and signed 156-pound kicker Blake Grupe.
The Rams just released Harrison Mevis after he missed a 50-yarder and had a 48-yard game-winner blocked in the OT loss to the Bills 😬🏈. They immediately signed Blake Grupe off the Jets’ practice squad — a 5’7″, 156-pound guy who looks like he got lost on the way to a middle school game 😂📏. Fans are already roasting the swap from the “Thiccer Kicker” to whatever the opposite of that is 🤣. Mevis finishes 5-for-9, the Rams are 2-3, and special teams remains a crime scene 🚔. #Rams #NFL #HarrisonMevis #ThiccerKicker #BlakeGrupe #SpecialTeamsHell #GoRams #In-N-Out #jets https://t.co/OnpZKNCNH0

Unfortunately, the much smaller Blake Grupe attempted to make a tackle in the team’s game vs. the Cardinals and got absolutely destroyed.

Grupe was forced to leave the game with a knee injury and did not return.
