After an extensive search for a new offensive coordinator, it sounds like the Baltimore Ravens have finally hired someone.

Their decision certainly brings new life to the team, as the front office clearly hopes to catch some of the Georgia Bulldogs’ winning ways.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Ravens are hiring Georgia’s Todd Monken as their new offensive coordinator. He’s been incredibly successful with the Bulldogs and makes his return to the NFL.

This is a massive hire for the Ravens. The Bulldogs have had an unstoppable offense in college football. Additionally, they’re giving Monken another chance to succeed at the professional level.

With everything up in the air regarding Lamar Jackson, at least Baltimore was able to reel in a talented play-caller who has seen a ton of success recently.

At the very least, the fans sure are happy with the hire.

The Ravens seem to be moving in the right direction.

Baltimore is being praised for hiring Monken. But football fans are still wondering where Eric Bieniemy might end up.

At the end of the day, the Ravens likely made a great decision. Why not capture some of that success in Georgia and bring it to the NFL?
