The Baltimore Ravens have offered a contract to free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Ravens have become one of the top contenders for Beckham’s services, with the New York Jets also being in the mix.

Schefter broke the news on NFL Live, stating that the Ravens had met with Beckham and presented him with their own offer. It is believed that the Ravens are serious about acquiring Beckham, who is considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

A source told BroBible that the Ravens have offered Odell the most money out of any team who spoke with him. Despite of that, the Ravens aren’t considered among his final two possibilities, the source adds.

Despite the interest from the Ravens, the Jets are still considered to be the front runners for Beckham’s services. The Jets have been in need of a dynamic wide receiver for quite some time, and Beckham would fit that bill perfectly, especially if the Aaron Rodgers trade gets finalized.  The Jets have reportedly been in talks with Beckham’s agent, exploring the possibility of signing the talented receiver to a long-term deal.

The Los Angeles Rams are also rumored to have shown interest in bringing Beckham back, although it is unclear how serious their pursuit is. The Rams already have a talented group of wide receivers, including Cooper Kupp but Beckham would certainly add another dimension to their offense.

One thing that could potentially impact Beckham’s decision is his contract demands. It has been reported that he is seeking $15 million per season from NFL teams, which is actually down from his initial asking price of $20 million. However, Beckham has denied those reports, so it is unclear exactly what his financial demands are.

Regardless of the financial details, one thing is for certain: Beckham is one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL, and any team that signs him would be getting a dynamic playmaker who can change the course of a game with one big play. With the Ravens, Jets, and Rams all vying for his services, it will be interesting to see where Beckham ultimately ends up.
