The Alabama Crimson Tide picked up a huge commitment this offseason with the pledge of five-star passer Julian Sayin. The 2024 quarterback is considered to be the No. 2 player at his position according to the On3 industry rankings.

While he won’t get to campus for another season, he could see early playing time upon arriving to Alabama given the uncertainty in the Tide’s QB room.

Sayin recently showed fans why the recruiting services think of him so highly. The signal caller has gone viral after being seen launching a 50-yard bomb on the run.

The sight has Alabama fans salivating.

The Crimson Tide find themselves in a bit of transition under center now that three-year starter Bryce Young is off to the NFL. That leaves the door open for a group of inexperienced underclassmen to potentially take the reins.

In all, quarterbacks on Alabama’s roster have combined to complete just 35 passes and start a single game. That came from Jalen Milroe last year while Young dealt with an injury.

The Crimson Tide did pick up a commitment from Notre Dame transfer Tyler Buchner this offseason, but even he boasts just three collegiate starts.

The uncertainty will give Julian Sayin an opportunity to compete as a freshman, though that will have to wait until the ’24 season. Alabama fans can’t wait for his arrival in Tuscaloosa.

If this viral throw is any indication, the passer could make some noise early in his career.

Viewers were quick to post their reactions in the comments section. Here’s what they were saying.

Most were impressed with the arm strength, with this fan writing, “To the left as a righty. That’s ALL arm!”

Another follower simply commented, “Filthy!”

Sayin will have an opportunity to work his way up the depth chart in 2024. He’s already winning Tide fans over before stepping foot in Tuscaloosa.
