MLB fans are worried about the Colorado Rockies’ scoreboard operator after seeing a bizarre message posted at Wednesday’s game versus the Astros. The now viral note has sparked instant reaction from followers on social media.
Have no fear, it’s nothing new to Coors’ Field. The tidbits are actually something Rockies’ fans look forward to reading when at the ballpark.
In this particular instance, the message read from the perspective of a scorned lover. What started out as an educational text ended in spite.
“Using a stethoscope to listen to the heart, cardiologists can detect narrow valves, valve leakage, and/or abnormal rhythm,” the note began. It soon took a turn for the worst.
“Don’t bother asking him to check YOUR heart though, Becky. That crushed Titanic sub has more life inside it than that collapsed troll cave you call a chest.”
Whoa! I’m not sure who Becky is, but she’s obviously caused pain to the person behind the screen.
Fans and media were quick to respond to the message as they posted replies online.

The Bleacher Report baseball account said, “Someone check on the Coors Field scoreboard operator.”
Jomboy Media wrote, “She doesn’t deserve you.”
“Sounds like they had a rocky relationship,” this fan quipped.
While this specific quote is going viral, the practice is nothing new for the Rockies’ scoreboard operator.
Thank you @Rockies for this… I hate the pitch clock! #abolishthepitchclock @MLB pic.twitter.com/jxcJveJZRq

Past ‘Game Notes’ include MLB facts, bizarre grocery store activity, and of course, relationship issues.

This might not be the first time the operator has referenced Becky, either.

Unfortunately for fans, this was the most entertaining part of the day. Colorado fell to Houston, 4-1, dropping to 37-59 on the year.
