In what is sure to be a fascinating watch, on March 24th, Amazon Prime Video debuts its new documentary REGGIE.

REGGIE will take a look back in time at the legendary life and career of Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson.

The documentary is being billed as “the definitive, firsthand account of five-time World Series Champion, beloved New York icon, and one of baseball’s most influential superstars.”

This week, Reggie Jackson, who was no stranger to controversy during his illustrious baseball career, appeared on Howard Stern’s show on SiriusXM to discuss the documentary and more.

Jackson and Stern covered numerous topics during their discussion, but one part of the conversation certainly stood out and it had to do with cheating… off the baseball field.

“It wasn’t hard for me to open my heart, but it was hard for me to be loyal,” Jackson admitted to Stern. “As a man, I cheated a lot.”

He continued, “I won’t blame it on any excuse. I just cheated. I saw a pretty girl and I tried to sleep with her.”

Stern then talked about how Jackson was so famous – he had a candy bar named after him – the temptations must have been all over the place.

“I won’t blame it on that either,” Reggie replied. “I just won’t blame it on that. I had access and I took advantage of it, and I missed a couple of wonderful ladies in my life, and it was my fault.”

Jackson then added, “I didn’t get it. I have a wonderful daughter. I wasn’t married when I had her, but what an unbelievable experience, and she’s given me two grandchildren, two boys, and one of the kids, the poor son of a gun, he looks just like me.”

Also during the show, Reggie Jackson shared a couple of his most memorable Yogi Berra stories.

Jackson also discussed how his infamous feud with late Yankees legend Thurman Munson got started back in the day.
