With the Green Bay Packers season over, it appears they are heading for another offseason of waiting to see what the future holds for Aaron Rodgers.

There has been plenty of speculation over recent months about what would happen with Rodgers and the Packers after this season.

Some believed the team could be ready to turn to Jordan Love after a brutal start to the season. There is some belief that Rodgers could be ready to move on to another team.

It isn’t even entirely clear at this point if Rodgers wants to continue playing football.

While he hasn’t given an indication yet on whether he will keep playing, Rodgers did recently say that he believes he could win another MVP if he does.

Today, Rob Gronkowski appeared on “Up and Adams” and revealed that he doesn’t believe another MVP should really be the priority for Rodgers.

I’m totally fine with everything he said except one major part and that’s the MVP. Like bro, why are you thinking MVP? Don’t you want Super Bowls? I think Super Bowls are five times greater than an MVP Award.

Rob Gronkowski is absolutely right that the only thing on the mind of Aaron Rodgers as he finishes up his NFL career is winning Super Bowl rings.

Rodgers has already won 4 MVP awards. Winning another would tie him with Peyton Manning for the most ever, but doesn’t do much to change his legacy in the sport.

Another Super Bowl would mean a whole lot more for that legacy. As it stands, Rodgers has only won one ring and has only played in the Super Bowl once.

That one ring is going to keep Rodgers out of the conversation of the greatest quarterbacks ever regardless of how responsible he is for his team’s shortcomings.

A change of scenery to chase another ring could be just what Rodgers needs to end his career.

We know that the Packers are immune to chasing free agents and their roster this season clearly wasn’t a contender. That could mean Rodgers will leave the Packers to go after the one thing that really matters next season.
