Rob Gronkowski was known to lay the boom during his playing days and it appears as though he is still willing to get physical in retirement! The 34-year-old future Pro Football Hall of Famer leveled Boise State’s Bronco mascot, best known as Buster, while hosting his own bowl game on Saturday night.

Rob Gronkowski purchased naming rights to a college football bowl during the offseason. Jimmy Kimmel cut them loose after two years and let his puking camel out to pasture.

UCLA and Boise State played in the inaugural LA Bowl hosted by Gronk and the game itself was electric. The Bruins battled back from a 16-7 deficit at halftime to win by 13.

However, it was the non-football shenanigans that stole the show at SoFi Stadium!

Not only did Gronk send Buster into the shadow realm, he pulled a monumental upset. Blitz, the official tee dog for the Broncos, is wicked fast.

However, Gronk used some trickery to throw Blitz off his game during their race and was able to come out with the victory. His win was as big as Boise State’s win over Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

Blitz, when running a straight line, never loses. He is already calling for a rematch!

All of the in-game festivities were hilarious. Gronk has an uncanny ability to turn any event into a party.

He even kicked things off with a rousing rendition of the national anthem.

The volume on his microphone was turned way down inside of the stadium. Fortunately, on-field audio captured his remarkable vocals. Gronk was really belting it out from deep down in his diaphragm!

There are people who argue against the current amount bowl games. To them, I ask why?

Saturday’s game was fun. Partying with Gronk even more so!
