The NFL draft is going to happen on April 25th-27th according to Roger Goodell even with GMs privately complaining about it going forward.
Last week, the NFL commissioner sent a memo to all teams telling them the draft will go on as planned and that they shouldn’t criticize the league for it or else they could be met with discipline.
The NFL Management Council Executive Committee discussed issues relating to the draft today and “was unanimous and unequivocal that the Draft should go forward as scheduled on April 23-25, 2020,” Commissioner Roger Goodell told clubs in a memo tonight.
The show goes on.

So here's the memo that went out from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to teams yesterday. Some points …
• The CEC is an ownership committee.
• Most coaches/GMs I've spoken to want the draft delayed.
• Those guys are taking the end of this memo as a threat. pic.twitter.com/MGARfyQifL— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 27, 2020
One NFL exec wasn’t happy with Goodell’s not so thinly veiled threat and fired a shot at the commissioner.
One AFC exec's reaction this morning to Goodell's warning at the end of the memo (on speaking out about the draft staying where it is): "Ridiculous and embarrassing." https://t.co/toDEwAWpoT

Very much on-brand for Goodell to be an asshole even during a crisis.
