Last week, we brought you the news of Oklahoma offensive tackle Orlando Brown’s less than stellar NFL combine performance. The 6-foot-7, 345 pounder was the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year posted a 5.85 second 40-yard dash, the 5th slowest of any player in NFL history.
For reference, Roger Goodell, aged 59, ran the on the 5th floor of the NFL’s offices in a full suit after being called out by Rich Eisen.
Heard you call me out @richeisen. It’s on. Headed down to the 5th floor @nfl345 to run my 40. #RunRichRun @StJude

Eisen runs the 40-yard dash every year in a full suit to raise awareness for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in correlation with the #RunRichRun campaign.
Goodell posted an unofficial time of 5.41 seconds, a hair better than the 5.53 second 40 he ran in 2015. Check out the commish’s blazing speed below.
What does Monday morning in your office look like?

According to SB Nation, Goodell’s 5.41 was better than six players at the 2018 NFL Combine.
As you can imagine, the internet produced some newsworthy jokes from watching the perpetually robotic and oft disconnected commissioner do something human-like.
If Goodell heard there were players celebrating at the end of the hallway, mans woulda ran a 4.2 to hand them a fine

Man, it's so cool Roger Goodell ran a 5.41 40. I'll bet everyone who didn't used to like him will love him now because he's so athletic.
