Roman Reigns Will Be On ‘Raw’ Tonight To Deliver Some Heartbreaking News To Fans

Injured WWE star Roman Reigns announced this weekend on the Sam Roberts’ Sirius/XM show that he will be on Raw tonight in Brooklyn, NY.

Reigns has something to say to the fans that they probably don’t want to hear — he’s going to be out of action longer than expected. Reigns had to undergo emergency surgery back in September to repair an incarcerated hernia and missed the Night Of Champions pay-per-view as a result.

Reigns told Roberts in the interview that it’s going to be a few months before he can step back into the ring to compete and his recovery will be monitored on a week-to-week basis. Reigns was sure to mention to Roberts he’s not concerned with losing his spot while out of action.

Reigns on the DL leaves a massive hole at the top of the card for a credible babyface alongside John Cena. Dean Ambrose is a possibility though his character doesn’t really scream “guy young fans can love.” There are rumors that Randy Orton might soon have a change of heart about his allegiance to The Authority in the coming months but a heel Randy Orton is much more interesting than the babyface version of “The Viper.”
