If you keep tabs on the world of golf, there’s a very good chance you’re familiar with Rose Zhang, the 20-year-old phenom who has the potential to become the LPGA’s equivalent of Tiger Woods thanks to what she’s managed to achieve over the past few years.

Zhang was the top amateur on the women’s circuit since she was a teenager, and after racking up two consecutive NCAA championships as a student at Stamford, she officially made the leap to the next level after turning pro earlier this year.

It’s safe to say she wasted absolutely no time making her mark after arriving on the LPGA Tour, as she became the first golfer on it to win in her professional debut since 1951 after securing a playoff victory at the Mizuho Americas Open in June.

It’s clear Zhang possesses an immense amount of talent and the ability to make a wildly difficult game look incredibly easy based on how she’s able to routinely navigate some of the toughest courses the average player will ever encounter with relative ease.

As a result, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that she can pull off some pretty wild trick shots without even trying.

Earlier this week, Zhang headed to Pebble Beach Golf Links to gear up for the U.S. Women’s Open (a tournament where she’s viewed as the favorite over the likes of Jin Young Ko, Hyo Joo Kim, and Nelly Korda).

Prior to the start of the event, Zhang got the chance to take on the course—including the iconic par-3 7th that tasks golfers with hitting a short tee shot downhill onto a green on the edge of the Pacific Ocean.

While she hit a gorgeous shot that landed within a few yards of the pin, the real achievement was Zhang’s ability to avoid having to pick up her tee by managing to pop it into the air before it landed in the back pocket of her pants.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone do that before.
