Russell Westbrook had an absolutely nightmarish game 3 in a crucial loss for the Los Angeles Clippers to fall behind the Dallas Mavericks, 2-1. Somehow, his actions at the end of the game were more embarrassing than his actual play.

After going 0-7 from the floor and scoreless overall, Russell Westbrook got tangled up with Mavericks star Luka Dončić and pushed him. That ultimately led to his ejection from the game as the Clippers lost, 101-90.

While Russell Westbrook did a nice job defending Luka Dončić, he was awful on offense. Going scoreless in 19 minutes of game action as someone who has the ball in their hands quite frequently is pretty inexcusable at this level.

And, it went from bad to worse when this altercation led to his ejection.

While it wasn’t a straight ejection for Russell Westbrook, it was his second flagrant foul, which does constitute an ejection.

It was the low point of what was a terrible offensive effort for the Los Angeles Clippers. They turned it over 19 times en route to a pathetic 90 points. A handful of those were in garbage time, too.

Kawhi Leonard looks like a shell of himself out there.as he tries to play through a knee injury. He played just 25 minutes, took just 7 shots, and his normally stout defense just isn’t there due to lack of mobility.

That means that Paul George needs to carry the load. Instead, he went 3-11 from the field and had just 7 points.

The Clippers probably need to steal game 4 in Dallas to have a shot at winning this series.
