Former D-League Player Charged With Attempted Murder While Trying To Sell Another Dude A Cell Phone

For the second time in about a month, a former D-League basketball player was arrested for attempted murder, this time being former St. John’s player Rysheed Jordan. What is it with these guys getting themselves into trouble by doing dumbass shit?

According to police, the 22-year-old Jordan was arrested in Philadelphia after he ran from police during a traffic stop, trying to get rid of a gun. He was later arrested in a nearby alleyway—which sounds like a fucking movie scene or something.

Here’s what 6ABC-TV in Philly had to add about the arrest:

Police say Jordan and two other suspects arranged via Facebook to meet three men to sell a cellphone.

During the meeting, police say Jordan and the two other suspects attempted to rob the victims, who fled the scene.

Jordan allegedly shot one victim in the arm.

Well, dude sounds crazy.

In addition to the arrest for attempted murder, Jordan was charged with aggravated assault and robbery, with his bail set at $750,000. It appears as if the last shot he took before jail is the one with this gun. C’mon man!
