Saquon Barkley Gives His Thoughts On A Potential Return To The Giants For Odell Beckham Jr

With Odell Beckham Jr’s return from an ACL injury getting closer and closer, his recruitment is really starting to heat up.

Von Miller has continued to make a push for him to join the Bills. Micah Parsons has tweeted at Odell. The Rams are out there somewhere for a potential return.

However, he has another former team that could be his eventual destination.

Amid the numerous options for Odell, the New York Giants still stand out as a potential landing spot for him. The Giants have established themselves as a likely playoff team and badly need help at receiver.

Today, Saquon Barkley was asked about a potential reunion between Odell and the Giants and it is definitely an idea that he likes.

He knows how I feel, [and] he knows how we feel in this locker roomHe’s a heck of a player. I’m more focused on him continuing to attack his rehab. . . . He’s a special player, and he’s still got a lot left in the tank. I know how he is with his mindset going at this rehab. When he is able to come back, he’s going to show his skill set.

While Saquon would like for the Giants to add Odell, he also doesn’t believe the Giants need to make a sales pitch to him like other teams’ players have been doing.

I feel like there’s not really a sales pitch. It’s New York. It’s the Giants. Obviously, he has familiar faces within this facility and in this locker room. Personally, I think it would be a great story to come back to a place that he was at before and continue to help build success. . . . He’s a special player. He can help any team.

Saquon might not think it’s necessary, but the Giants will probably need to do some convincing to get Odell to pick them over all of his other options.
