Cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner is set to make a lot of money next month. The former Cincinnati Bearcat is a projected Top-10 pick in the NFL Draft and is only continuing to rise.

Gardner, who measured-in at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds has a 79 3/8″ wingspan and the on-field skills to match his big, long frame. While at Cincinnati, he did not allow a touchdown.

Literally. It was absolutely insane. Not one single wide receiver found the end zone even just one time in 1,059 coverage snaps against Gardner.

He is also extremely quick for his size.

According to Peter Schrager, Gardner may be considered the “top overall player” coming out of the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. His football ability is one thing, but he is also considered to be a stand-up person and one of the best football minds in this year’s draft class.

On-field talent aside, Gardner reportedly crushed every single one of his interviews with NFL organizations interested in drafting him. It’s not hard to see why.

An old video of Gardner playing cornerback as a child has gone viral and it shows that he is the ultimate teammate. In the clip, Gardner makes an interception with his teammate right next to him.

After the pick, the teammate is visibly disappointed that he did not make the play. In turn, Gardner stopped his forward momentum, turned to his teammate and gave him the ball for him to make the return.

Talk about a selfless player!
