The best soccer stars in the world make more money than any of our favorite athletes here in America. By a lot.

And it appears that trend will continue as Kylian Mbappe is gaining interest from Al-Hilal, a club in Saudi Arabia.

They swung and missed on Lionel Messi and the club is making a strong push for the PSG star.

According to Front Office Sports, Kylian Mbappe is being offered an insane $1.1 billion deal to play for just one year in the Saudi club Al-Hilal. They’d be paying a $332 million transfer fee to PSG while the remaining $776 million goes to Mbappe.

The deal also includes an opportunity for him to go play for Real Madrid this time next year.

Furthermore, Front Office Sports claims that if Kylian Mbappe accepts the contract, the”reported $776 million salary would be the highest ever for an athlete, surpassing the current-record $674 million over four years that Lionel Messi received from FC Barcelona in 2017.”

That’s just an insane amount of money and goes to prove that Saudi Arabia is doing everything possible to take over the sports world.

They’ve been incredibly active in Golf, tennis, and have invested in multiple soccer teams across the globe, including PSG and Manchester City, per Front Office Sports.

We’ll have to see how this plays out, as Kylian Mbappe must choose to accept or deny the offer.

If he chooses to play for Al-Hilal, he’ll be joining Christiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia. News of Mbappe’s decision should come to light in the coming days.
