It appears that Canelo Alvarez is going to get a big bag from the Saudis.

Last month, Canelo went viral when he said that he wouldn’t fight David Benavidez unless someone paid him $150-200 million to do so.

“If some promoter, not him, because he’s nothing to offer me…but I one promoter who I work to they come and say I offer to I offer to you 150 to 200 million. I fight tomorrow…that’s the only that’s the only reason I fight with him…”

Apparently, the Saudis are interested in doing business with Canelo but don’t want him to fight Benavidez.

Instead, Saudi boxing promoter Turki Alalshikh is interested in having Canelo fight Terence Crawford and Benavidez fighting the winner of Beterbiev/Bivol.

Crawford is currently fighting on the upcoming card promoted by Turki and has said in the past that he wants to fight Canelo.
