The Seattle Seahawks beat the New York Giants with a resounding 24-3 win on Monday Night Football.

Much credit goes to their defense, which showed up with a whopping 11 sacks and scoring a pick-six off Giants $160 million quarterback Daniel Jones.

Rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon stole the spotlight, delivering an exceptional game with two sacks and a game-changing interception he returned 97 yards for a touchdown.

Post-game, the rookie shared insights into the Seahawks gameplan, which doesn’t make Daniel Jones look too good, he revealed that the Seahawks’ anticipated Jones telegraphing his first target.

“We knew he liked to stare down his first target.” Witherspoon told the NFL Network.

Jones’ poor play raises doubts about his status as the franchise quarterback the Giants envisioned when signing him to a long-term deal earlier this year.

You don’t often hear a Rookie talk like that about one of the highest paid NFL players like that, but that did happen.
