It was a brutal season for the Los Angeles Rams after the team fell flat on their faces. Now, rumors continue to swirl that Sean McVay could be leaving as head coach.

Those rumors picked up major steam on Tuesday, as McVay’s latest decision has the fanbase worried about the future.

According to Jeremy Fowler, Sean McVay, “has permitted his coaching staff to search for other jobs, without resistance.” On top of that, the Rams’ head coach stated in a staff meeting he “won’t block those who want to explore opportunities.” So, it sounds like some of the coaching staff in LA might be searching for new jobs.

This is mainly alarming as NFL teams “can no longer block position coaches from interviewing for coordinator jobs, but they can block lateral moves,” per Fowler. With that in mind, Sean McVay is opting to allow anyone on his coaching staff to make a career change, whether it’s a promotion or lateral move.

McVay’s tenure as the Rams head coach is up in the air right now, as rumors suggest he doesn’t want to be involved in a long rebuild. Even so, his latest comments have the fanbase concerned for the future.

Rams fans might have to think about Aaron Donald’s situation as well.

LA already lost its offensive coordinator and it sounds like they’re going to lose even more.

Los Angeles is in a tough spot right now as they might just be in the market for a new head coach. Even so, Sean McVay has yet to make a final decision. Hopefully, there is more clarity sooner, rather than later.
