Sean McVay is not happy with his playcalling in his team’s overtime loss to the Bills.
While the Rams had a great offensive game, McVay got conservative and called a run on third-and-five in field goal range in overtime.
Unfortunately, the Rams had their field-goal attempt blocked, and the Bills scored a game-winning field goal moments later.
Greg Rousseau blocked field goal saves the game for Buffalo.

The #Bills attempting the game-winning FG on 2nd down instead of taking two knees and draining the clock could’ve been another major game-management blunder.
Buffalo survived. Huge win. And an incredible game.

An upset McVay addressed the media and blamed himself for the team’s loss.
“I’m SICK right now with myself!.. I’m sick that we came up short. I’ll be regretting kicking that and not having a better call to be able to go for it on third down and go to fourth or whatever it was. That’s on me.”
“This stings. It’s gonna hurt. … It’s been a while since I have been this pissed after a game.”
This is about as upset as I’ve seen Sean McVay after a game. He blames himself for the conservative third and five call in OT and kicking the long field goal. There will likely be special teams changes this week. https://t.co/Y06H3vLON1
