FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique shocked the world after he allegedly cheated on Shakira with another woman. Now, after the two finally broke up, it sounds like the pop star may just get the ultimate petty revenge over her ex.
Shakira May Have Her Name Sponsored On FC Barcelona’s Kit
According to the Daily Star, “reports in Spain said the Colombian singer could be the next to benefit from the Catalan club’s sponsorship with Spotify after they opted to wear the OVO owl on their jersey in Sunday’s El Clasico.” If that’s the case, then FIFA star Gerard Pique would have to wear Shakira’s name on his uniform during a game.
With Shakira set to release a new single, it makes sense why Spotify wants to feature her name next. Drake’s OVO owl looked phenomenal on the FC Barcelona kit, so we could expect something similar for her as well.
However, this is the biggest petty revenge move of all time. Shakira claims she caught Gerard Pique cheating on her red-handed. For that reason, what could be better than sweet, sweet revenge? Especially considering she is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Why not be petty and stick it to your former lover?
As of now, this isn’t a guarantee, but it sounds like talks are legitimate. We’ll see how it plays out, but FIFA star Gerard Pique might have to rep Shakira’s name on his own uniform. Keep an eye on it, as FC Barcelona could make an official announcement soon.
