The Minnesota Timberwolves are set to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday at 10 P.M. Eastern.

It’s a win-or-go-home situation, as the NBA’s play-in tournament finally begins.

The Timberwolves are a bit of a mess right now after Rudy Gobert threw a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson. Now, Shannon Sharpe calls out the organization for suspending the star center.

During a segment on Undisputed, Sharpe points out how odd it is for Minnesota to suspend Rudy Gobert for the play-in game.

Considering their playoff lines are on the line, you’d think the team would want Gobert in the lineup. Here is Shannon Sharpe making his case.

With the Timberwolves handling the situation internally, many believed the star center would receive a fine.

Shannon Sharpe makes some solid points about the state of this franchise. Perhaps there is some kind of turmoil within the organization.

The Timberwolves completely fell apart in the final game of the regular season (which they ended up winning by the way). Frustration led to Minnesota losing two of its stars, Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels.

One is due to suspension, which is the team’s decision. The other punched a wall and fractured his hand.

No matter how you look at it, this is a horrible look for this team. It’s hard to argue against anything Shannon Sharpe is talking about.

However, all could be saved if they can beat the Lakers on Tuesday night. If the Timberwolves pull it off, then Gobert would return for the playoffs.

Either way, suspending a key player in the most crucial game of the year is a bold decision. But it’s one the Timberwolves have to live with.
