A shirtless fan from the Peach Bowl has been identified. The fan went viral in Georgia’s come-from-behind win over Ohio State, leading many on social media to find out the Bulldog supporter’s identity.

In an image posted to social media on Saturday, he’s seen in a state of distress as the Bulldogs trailed for the majority of their College Football Playoff matchup. A little good luck swayed the tides and Georgia emerged with a 42-41 win.

That changing of fortune very well could’ve been brought about by this fan, who removed his shirt in hopes of bringing his team some momentum. When posted, UGA was losing 35-24 with the fourth quarter nearing.

Fast forward to the final play and the Bulldogs escaped with a thrilling victory. OSU missed a game-winning field goal as time expired which ultimately punched Georgia’s ticket to another national championship appearance.

When the game ended, the Peach Bowl fan was ID’d. And his response to the epic photo is perfect.

The Bulldogs would go on to outscore the Buckeyes 17-6 after this photo was taken, and maybe there’s a method to the madness.

The Peach Bowl fan is Chris Witt, a Georgia superfan who was in Atlanta rooting on his Dawgs. And it’s not the first time he’s pulled this trick out the bag.

Here’s what he had to say after the playoff win.

“Backstory for this photo is that I usually change shirts for good luck when UGA is losing. I only had one shirt yesterday, so I had to go all out. I did the same thing 5 years ago at the Rose Bowl. I just wasn’t sitting front row that time. Go Dawgs!”

That Rose Bowl matchup he referenced saw Georgia rally from a 17-point deficit to take down Oklahoma. Unfortunately, their luck would run out on the famous 2nd-and-26 play from Tua Tagovailoa in the championship game. He’s hoping for a different outcome this season as the Bulldogs defend their title.

UGA will take on TCU in the national championship next week. Hopefully, this fan can take his Peach Bowl antics to SoFi Stadium as the Bulldogs look to bring home some more hardware.
