Two weeks ago college basketball superstar Zion Williamson was forced to leave the UNC-Duke game after suffering a bizarre injury when his Nike sneakers exploded and split apart on Duke’s first possession of the game. .

Immediately after Zion’s injury Puma hoops decided to take a shot at Nike but eventually deleted their tweet after some backlash from fans.

While Puma decided to back off Nike, Skechers is capitalizing on the opportunity to mock their sneaker rivals with this ad that will run on Instagram and in the NY Times on Sunday.
