There’s a good chance that University of South Florida women’s college basketball player Kendall Puryear would beat just about everyone reading this story in a game of 1-on-1.

After all, Puryear is 6-foot-3, was an elite high school player in Missouri, and played for two years in the Big Ten with Purdue before transferring to the Bulls.

All that being said, Puryear is going viral after a video of her shooting free throws against Furman hit social media recently. And her free-throw form is genuinely shocking.

Kendall Puryear Has An Absolutely Insane Free Throw Form

During the shot, Puryear brings the ball entirely behind her head, takes one hand completely off of the ball, and then seems to chuck it vaguely in the direction of the rim.

To make matters even more incredible, Puryear is shooting 58.2 percent from the line for her college career! Is that number good in isolation? No. But having seen her form, it’s verging on a miracle, if not more than a miracle!

Puryear scored in double figures seven times last season for the Boilermakers, including a career-high 20 points against Illinois.

So, again, she’s a very good basketball player compared to the general population. But somehow she’s reached that level with a free-throw form that is now being compared to Charles Barkley’s golf swing.

Kendall, if you’re reading this, we are sorry to single you out. But also, if you’d like to do an interview and explain how in the world you ended up learning how to shoot free throws like that, please reach out to us!
