The Chicago Bears have issues. They are 3-4 on the season (1-1 DIV) and just got blown out by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-3 in Tampa. Matt Nagy was hailed as a supposed offensive guru but his teams have proven to be anything but and Bears fans are finally accepting that coaching and play calling is the root of their problems on offense.

This was a particularly painful blowout loss for Bears nation. Not because they expected to win, though I’m sure some Chicago Bears fans did, but because the Bears beat the Bucs last season and despite losing to the Packers they had a little momentum coming off wins against the Raiders and Lions.

A colleague of mine shared on Twitter that it’s somewhat poetic that the hype surrounding Matt Nagy began when the Bears beat Brady and the Buccaneers last season and now a 38-3 blowout in Tampa Bay could seal Nagy’s fate with the team.
