Superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs is not typically one to hold back when asked to speak his mind.

But given the opportunity to trash his old team, the former Buffalo Bills and current Houston Texans star showed restraint this week. Instead, Diggs praised the Bills organization while expressing excitement about his new start in Houston.

“I always believe in where I’m supposed to be when I’m supposed to be there,” Diggs said when asked about the differences between the Bills and Texans. “My feet are right here. This is where I’m at.

“I don’t talk bad about my old girlfriend to make my new girlfriend feel good. That was a good fit too. There are some great people over there but being here, this is where I am right now. This is where god placed me and it’s amazing people here.

Diggs showed far more restraint than his younger brother, Trevon, who tweeted that Diggs needed get out of Buffalo before he was traded to Houston.

On the other side of things, Bills star quarterback Josh Allen was extremely complimentary of his former number one target.

“Obviously, I wish we could keep everybody. We’ve made a lot of changes this offseason, lost a lot of veteran leadership – [Diggs] being one of them,” Allen said when asked about Diggs leaving. “I guess that’s the nature of the business, and going into year seven now, it kind just is what it is. I don’t get paid to make changes on the team, I get paid to be the best quarterback that I can be and try to lead the guys on this team.”

We’ll see if both sides are as friendly should the two meet in the AFC playoffs.
