Following their 24-22 home loss to the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys’ Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs — who is sidelined for the season with a torn ACL — added insult to the Bills’ injury by tweeting that his brother Stefon needs to “get up outta” Buffalo.

Trevon’s brother Stefon, 29, is a wide receiver who has been with the Bills since 2020 and has largely been credited with being the offensive weapon that helped Josh Allen take the next step in his career. Every season he’s been in Buffalo, for example, he’s been selected to the Pro Bowl.

In the Monday Night Football game against the Broncos, Diggs had just three catches for 34 yards.

What makes Trevon’s tweet, which he has since deleted, even more notable is that Stefon certainly hasn’t been shy about expressing his frustrations with Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense in the past, as he famously flipped out on the sidelines during their home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2022 playoffs.

So far through nine games this season, Diggs — who was originally drafted out of the University of Maryland in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings — has 70 catches for 834 yards and seven touchdowns. He has had more than 60 catches and 1,000 yards every year since 2018.

The loss to the Broncos dropped the Bills record to 5-5, which puts them right in the thick of the AFC Wild Card race alongside the likes of Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers.

Currently, as the 2023 NFL season enters Week 11, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Houston Texans possess the three AFC Wild Card berths.

In their final seven games of the season, the Bills will be taking on the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins.
