Monday morning, NBA Twitter was in a twist trying to figure out a video that showed Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry draining not one or two, but five full court shots in a row.

The problem with deciphering whether or not a video like that is real is because it’s Steph Curry. If anyone on the planet could possibly make five straight full court shots it would be him.

Earlier this year, video circulated on the internet that supposedly showed Tom Brady hitting a hole in one. No one bought it (even though Brady really tried to sell it). The video also looked pretty fake.

Curry’s video, however, was convincing enough to make believers out of many. It also helped that the videographer who shot the video was in on the joke.

“I’m begging you to confirm if this is real or not,” one fan tweeted.

They even provided an “alternate angle” of Steph Curry’s magical shooting.

Of course, the video wasn’t real. It actually had something to do with Steph Curry winning Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year Award.

After Monday’s Warriors game, a 112-104 loss to the Indiana Pacers, Steph Curry was asked about the viral video by the media.

“I’ll let them be the judge of that,” Steph Curry said with a grin, talking about those fans who still think the video is real.

“But it’s an ultimate compliment to probably be amazed by it, but not think it’s outlandish that it could be real. We had some fun with it. The Sports Illustrated team coming with some heat.

“I did make two of them though, just in case anybody was wondering,” he added.

Klay Thompson was also asked about Curry’s viral video.

“What does it say about him that people could thought that could be legit?” a reporter asked.

“That he’s the greatest to ever shoot it,” Thompson replied.
