It’s been a while since we last saw Stipe Miocic in the octagon. However, it sounds like he’s ready to make a return soon.

In fact, he teases exactly when he wants to return and who he wants to face in one tweet.

Stipe Miocic hit social media on Sunday reacting to the news that Jon Jones is facing off against Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight belt. Clearly, Miocic wants to be a champion again, so why not face the winner between those two?

At the end of the day, the UFC should just go ahead and plan for Miocic to face the winner of Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane. There isn’t really anybody else in the weight class who deserves a title shot over him. On top of that, the idea of Stipe Miocic fighting Jones or Gane sounds like a massively entertaining fight either way.

With Francis Ngannou out of the picture, the heavyweight belt is up for grabs. It’s a bit odd to see Jones receive an immediate title shot debuting in a new weight class. Especially since it’s been over 1,000 days since he last fought in the cage. However, considering many view him as the GOAT, it’s no wonder why he’s getting a title shot right away.

Jon Jones will be taking on Ciryl Gane on March fourth and it sounds like Stipe Miocic is going to keep a close eye on that matchup. Hopefully, the UFC fulfills his request, as the heavyweight division becomes much more interesting with Jones in the picture.
