The new Netflix series Full Swing debuts on Wednesday, February 15th. But Netflix cleverly released the first episode of Full Swing during the Super Bowl by stuffing a QR code that unlocked a link to the first episode on YouTube.

If you missed the QR code to unlock the first episode of Full Swing, you’re not alone. In fact, this is probably the only commercial I took note of during Super Bowl 57 and I still missed the QR code at the end.

It wasn’t until a friend texted about it that things became clear. At the end of this star-studded Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial, there’s a QR code. Scan that and you’ll be taken to the ‘Ultra Club’ landing page.

I can save you a step and you’ll find the Ultra Club landing page right here.

Once there, it asks for your email address and it will text you a code to an unlisted video on YouTube where you can stream the first episode of Full Swing.

After the intros, the first episode kicks off with Jordan Spieth’s win at the 2022 RBC Heritage PGA Tour event at Harbour Town in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The first episode does a masterful job at introducing us to the tempo of the show. It cuts between behind-the-scenes shots of the athletes hanging out and practicing together away from tournaments.

There are a lot of scenes with the golfers and golf personalities speaking directly to the camera interspersed with training scenes like Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth getting yoked in the gym.

My take on Full Swing after the first episode is simple: if you are a fan of golf then it will be impossible to not like this show.

Full Swing premieres on Wednesday, February 15th. The team behind this project is the same team behind Drive to Survive, the series that has really brought Formula 1 to the United States.

Stars featured in the first season include Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Ian Poulter, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy and others.
