Team USA women’s hockey has cruised through the preliminary round of the Milan-Cortina Olympics with 4 wins in 4 games and a +19 goal differential. Goalie Aerin Frankel only gave up 1 goal to the opposition while Team USA scored 20.
Off the ice, Aerin Frankel who also plays for the Boston Fleet of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), has been gaining attention after her not-so-secret Instagram account dedicated entirely to rating and reviewing Caesar salads has gone viral.
Team USA Goalie Aerin Frankel’s Caesar Salad Reviews
As a Casear salad aficionado myself, real recognizes real. It has been the #1 salad in my life and family for the vast majority of my life. There was a time in my earlier life when I was eating a grilled chicken Caesar salad for lunch 5-6 days a week. My family has a secret family recipe that people from far and wide have begged me to share the recipe for. So when I saw that Team USA goalie was going viral for Caesar salad reviews my interest was piqued.
I came to this knowledge by way of TikTok but this post on X currently has 1.8 million views and it was re-shared by the PWHL who dropped a salad pun in the quotes:

Caesar Salad Reviewing Is Serious Business
On Instagram, Aerin Frankel has the account @painbyromaine. Several days ago it was virtually unknown but over the course of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Aerin Frankel’s Caesar salad account is up over 9,000 followers and growing rapidly.
Her most recent post is meta in nature, talking about how people have discovered the account. Prior to that, her last post was a review of the Caesar salad in Milan upon arrival.
Going back a little further to two weeks ago, she rated the Caesar salad at Grill 23 & Bar in Boston. That one blew her mind and received an 8.5/10 score:
The restaurant Sugo in Toronto recently received a perfect 10/10 score. Evidently, she is all in on the Caesar salads that are hidden under a mountain of shaved cheese:
While some people might scoff at eating that much cheese, if it’s good enough for a professional athlete it is good enough for you and me.
Aerin Frankel is the embodiment of PEAK PERFORMANCE as she had three shutouts in four games to start the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. If Caesar salad is the secret sauce that gets the job done, consider me all in. I’m having a Caesar salad for dinner tonight.
Aerin Frankel will now seek to take Team USA to the gold medal match. USA faces Italy at 3:10 on Friday, February 13th. Italy was 2-2 in the Preliminary Round with a -2 goal differential. Methinks Aerin has this one in the bag.
