Life with the Tennessee Titans has not gone according to plan for Cam Ward, the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and now it’s more than just fans who are letting him hear about it.

Ward threw for just 170 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception on Sunday in a 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans, who were previously winless on the season.

Not only did fans at Nissan Stadium rain down the boos at the end of the game, but then Ward had to go and face a seemingly increasingly hostile group of local media after the fact.

The Tennessee Titans Media May Run Cam Ward Out Of Town

Last week, after a loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Ward faced heat from members of the media after he threatened to bail on the team’s postgame press conference.

Earlier in the season, Ward called himself a very good quarterback, and was in turn asked “Doesn’t a very good quarterback have better results than you have?”

That’s a fair question! But it’s certainly not an easy one.

After this week’s loss to the Texans, a reporter asked if Ward had “gotten used to losing.”

“No, I’m not a loser. The record may say that we are right now. But at the end of the day, you got to go through some stuff to try to get wins,” Ward responded.

Now, Ward himself may not be a loser. But you are what your record says you are. And right now, the Titans are losers… in every game they’ve played.

How much of that is on Ward? That answer varies depending on who you asked. But for the time being, Cam Ward is having a tough time both on and off the field.
