Every football fan loves when an offensive lineman or defensive lineman rumbles and tumbles for a touchdown. But, this kickoff return touchdown by Houston Texans fullback Andrew Beck is the best big guy touchdown I’ve ever seen.

It came on a popped-up kickoff. And, what ensued was simply pure football nirvana.

What a run! Andrew Beck does have some wheels, despite his monster 6-foot-3 255lb frame. The Texas Longhorn ran a 4.63 40 time at his pro day.

Here are the Next Gen Stats dots of the play. Poetry in motion
It is just the second touchdown of Andrew Beck’s career, and the kick return for the Houston Texans was his first touchdown for the team. Coming into today’s game, his only offensive stats were two carries for two yards.

Big guy touchdowns rule. And, when people think about kickoff returns by big guys, the most memorable one heading into today was Dan Connolly’s legendary, rumbling and tumbling 71 yard return for the New England Patriots against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football in 2010. Take a look. It still rules.

To this day, I really wish he would’ve found his way into the end zone. Would have made the play even more legendary.

Here are some other fat guy touchdowns in NFL history.

It was that kind of day for the Texans. As of midway though the fourth quarter, they were blowing out the rival Jaguars, 34-17.
