Charlie Woods, a junior at the Benjamin School and son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, announced his commitment to play at Florida State on Feb. 10.
He will join Miles Russell, the current No. 1 player in the American Junior Golf Association’s Rolex Rankings, in a star-studded Florida State recruiting class from the Class of 2027.
On Friday, Tiger donned FSU gear to watch his son officially sign his commitment letter to FSU.

Tiger has been highly complimentary of his son’s golf game.
“Charlie’s swing is different than mine. He uses his legs way better than I ever did, and probably still do. But that’s just the evolution of learning the game.
While Woods is proud of his son, he’s tried hard not to be an overbearing father on the golf course.
“I enjoyed caddying for him and being there with him, just to talk through shots… But when it comes to golf, he is not going to be that overbearing father, aka ‘Quarterback Dad.’ I provide the guardrails but give Charlie his space.”
