Tiger Woods has finally closed the book on his latest DUI arrest.

Back in March, Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI after police officers believed he was impaired on medication when he flipped over his SUV.

Following his arrest, Woods stepped back from the limelight and entered a rehab facility to deal with his addiction to prescription medication.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods said in a statement. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”

“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

On Wednesday, Woods arrived at a Florida courthouse with girlfriend Vanessa Trump to face the consequences of his rollover crash.

According to Fox News, Woods received a plea deal and avoided jail time, but his license will be suspended for the next five years.
