Tiger Woods Says He Has No Regrets About Cheating On Elin, But Reveals His One Regret In Life

Tiger Woods has one regret. No. He did not say the Denny’s waitress. To be fair, that lovely woman was a 9 on the scale of Denny’s waitresses. Tiger said he has no regrets about cheating on his then-wife Elin Nordegren with all those women back in 2009. During an interview with Charlie Rose, Tiger revealed his one thing he would take back.

“The only regret I have in life is not spending another year at Stanford [University]. I wish I would’ve had one more year.”

Rose seemingly shocked, asked once again, in case Tiger had a slight memory glitch.

“That’s the only regret? Of all the things that happened to you?”

Woods confirmed his one regret.

“All the things I’ve been through, yes,” said Woods. “They’ve been tough, but they’ve been great for me. But I wish I would’ve gone one more year at Standford.”

Despite not regretting his infidelity, Woods noted that the experience was “rough to go through,” and called Nordegren one of his “best friends.”

He went on to share how he has explained the divorce to their children, Sam, 9, and Charlie, 7.

Woods tells Rose how he told his children about his infidelities, “I’ve said, ‘everybody makes mistakes, and the reason why mommy’s living in her house and daddy’s living in his house is because daddy made mistakes, and it’s okay.”

Here’s some other clips from the interview.
