Fans Calling On Tiger Woods To Retire After He Withdraws From Genesis Invitational With Injury

Tiger Woods has withdrawn from another tournament, and fans think it’s time to call it a career.

After the first round of the Genesis Invitational on Thurdsay, Woods told the media that he was getting back spasms when he shanked a ball on the 18th hole.

“Well, my back was spasming the last couple of holes, and it was locking up,” Woods said. “I came down and it didn’t move, and I presented [the] hosel first and shanked it.”

“Things are a little bit sore, but that’s to be expected,”That’s nothing that we weren’t prepared for, and we’ve got some work to do tonight and tomorrow.”

It appears that Woods’ back continued to bother him on Friday afternoon because he was forced to withdraw from the tournament.

Some fans are even calling for Woods to retire.

Tiger on the Cart – unfortunately, it might be time to hang em’ up and retire. His body can’t make it the whole weekend. said one fan.

“Tiger, just retire at this point. Your legacy is made, and this is depressing to watch.” commented another fan.

We’ll have to wait and see if Tiger will be able to play at The Masters in less than two months.
