Tiger Woods is going to be ok after all.

On Friday afternoon, Woods was forced to withdraw from the Genesis Invitational and carted off the golf course after suffering a mysterious illness on the golf course.

At first the media speculated that Woods had suffered a back injury after he said he had suffered back spasms a day earlier.

Things got a bit worrisome when an ambulance arrived at the Riviera Golf Course to attend to Woods.

On Saturday, Tiger clarified that he had not suffered an injury but is currently dealing with the flu.

“I would like to confirm that I had to withdraw from @thegenesisinv due to illness, which we now know is influenza. I am resting and feeling better. Good luck to the players this weekend. I’m disappointed to not be there and want to thank @GenesisUSA and all the fans for for the support.

Tiger’s update is good news, considering the Masters is nearing and doesn’t appear to have suffered a major injury leading up to the event.
