Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are both teeing it up in this week’s Genesis Invitational and during the pro-am on Wednesday the two had a little fun.

McIlroy’s group played behind Woods’ and during the round, Tiger decided to hang back and jokingly tend the flag for Rory for one of his approach shots. It wasn’t just a short chip shot, either, McIlroy was 160 yards out, but threw a dart into the green as he took dead aim at Woods.

The ball cozied up to Woods’ foot leaving nothing but a tap-in. As the ball settled, Woods wound up the flag before letting it go to jokingly show some frustration towards Rory after pulling off the shot.

Moments like these are always great, but when it involves two of the game’s best like that it takes it all to a whole other level.

Those couple of seconds with Woods simply watching the ball come to rest, yeah, that’s the good stuff. Woods basically dared Rory to take dead aim at him and McIlroy delivered.

McIlroy is the favorite at Riviera this week while Woods, the host of the tournament, enters the week with the fifth-best odds.
