Yesterday, I told you about how Nike Golf shocked the sports world by saying they’ll be pulling production of all golf equipment—which focuses on clubs, balls and bags—and focusing entirely on apparel like shoes, hats, shirts, etc.
Following the news, 14-time major winner Tiger Woods—Nike’s most popular and impactful athlete endorser since Michale Jordan—shared his thoughts on Twitter about the decision.
Couldn’t play w/o clubs, balls & bag or men & woman dedicated to them. Grateful for their hard work & innovation from an amazing @Nike team

Woods has been with the Swoosh since 1996—winning many of his majors with Nike’s equipment—so it’s interesting to hear his take on the multibillion dollar brand’s choice to pull clubs and balls off of the shelves.
