TikTok star Addison Rae has a huge following which has allowed to get opportunities many aren’t able to experience. Unfortunately some people aren’t happy about the way she brags about these opportunities on social media.
Before UFC 264 on Saturday Rae gloated about the fact she was going to be a UFC reporter after only complete three months worth of journalism school.
I studied broadcast journalism in college for 3 whole months to prepare for this moment pic.twitter.com/5Z95OTSVTA

Journalists and fans were not happy with Rae’s tweet and immediately blasted her for it.
Imagine spending four years in college plus unpaid internships plus reporter/producer/editor/photog jobs that pay next to nothing to even have the SHOT at a better job
…and all it takes for Addison Rae is TikTok and three months of college to be ahead of you. https://t.co/U01hx6tgGT

If only they told me all I had to do was record myself doing sub-par dance moves to overplayed music in order to make millions. Instead I started out working 12 hour days for $12/hr😂 https://t.co/8KDvDeeFo1

so your taking a job from someone who delicates their time and money to get such a job, whereas you get it because of fame. we all know that if she wasn’t famous, 3 months wouldn’t cut it.

I’ve studied journalism for the past 3 years and still have one more year to go. Must be nice to be an influencer though. https://t.co/xPRgD73zwK
