There are celebrity Knicks fans, and then there are New York Knicks fans who became celebrities. Academy Award-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet is firmly the latter.

Throughout the New York Knicks postseason run, native New Yorker and Oscar-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet has been seated courtside living and dying with every dribble of the basketball.

That die-hard energy reached a fever pitch on Wednesday night after the Knicks pulled off the largest comeback in NBA Finals history, erasing a 29-point deficit — the Knicks outscored the Spurs 58-30 in the second-half to eek out the one-point victory — to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

After the game, Chalamet’s emotions boiled over as he was spotted partying with Knicks fans in the Madison Square Garden concourse and ripping his shirt off in celebration. Even his girlfriend Kylie Jenner couldn’t believe her eyes, as she whipped out her phone to record him like the other elated spectators.

With the 107-106 win, the Knicks will enter Game 5 with a 3-1 series lead, which has only been overcome once in the history of the NBA Finals when the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers pulled it off against the Golden State Warriors.

Game 5 of the NBA Finals — which the Spurs enter as 5.5-point favorites — will tip off from Texas on Saturday, June 13 at 8:30 p.m. EST. If the Knicks win the game and clinch the series, they’ll win their first NBA title since 1973.
