The Tennessee Titans made a shocking move when they decided to fire their general manager mid-season. Well, the franchise has finally found its replacement.
This is a pivotal moment for this organization, as the new general manager will aim to build a championship-level roster.
On Tuesday, Dianna Russini reported that the Titans “are hiring San Francisco 49ers Director of Pro Personnel Ran Carthon as their new general manager. Carthon played a major role in helping shape the 49ers roster as it is today.

It’s a bold move by the Titans, as they went outside the organization to make a hire. Additionally, this move indicates they want to emulate San Francisco, a franchise that has been largely successful since 2017. As you could imagine, the fanbase is through the roof about Ran Carthon becoming the new general manager.

Carthon has the potential to really turn things around for this team.
I truly believe Ran Carthon is going to be a great GM for the Titans. I’m glad they are trying someone not affiliated with the organization. #titans

To make it even better, both Ran Carthon and Mike Vrabel come from a similar philosophy.
Good hire. He and Vrabel should see eye to eye.

So, the Titans have their general manager and will now focus on hiring an offensive coordinator. This will be an interesting offseason for this team, as we could see big changes made for the better.
