Things got a bit testy during Monday night’s game between the Broncos and the Titans.
In the first quarter of the game, Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans got ejected for punching Broncos TE Jake Butt in the face after a brief scuffle.
Rashaan Evans personal foul after the play. Evans punched Jake Butt and has been ejected from the game. Absolutely can not happen. #Titans @NC5

Two plays later, the Broncos exploited Evans’ absence by targeting tight end Noah Fant for a 9-yard touchdown as Denver took a 7-0 lead.

NFL fans didn’t think Evans was smart for deciding to punch Butt in the helmet.
What's the point of punching a guy who's wearing a helmet?

I have never understood NFL players swinging for the fences on a dude in a helmet.
